Diversity Matters Exhibit opening view took place on the 2nd June at UAL High Holborn. The evening showcased art works by UAL students, staff and external industry creatives!

Stephen Reid – UAL Deputy Vice Chancellor joined us and spoke briefly about his role UAL Race Equality Champion. Queer performance artist Travis Alabanza took to the mic, Fabio Tedde/PianistWithoutBordersEfe Ikeuseu and 9 year old Alanna Couch entertained us on the piano custom designed by Italian artist Riccardo Girardi. DFT Printing Studios guys performed live screen printing prints for sale with profits going towards the fundraiser #ThumbsUpForUganda, and BBC Arts Producer Ruairi Sparks spoke about the open call for diverse applicants for BBC Painting Show…

We raised £302.48 at our opening view for #ThumbsUpForUganda! Thank you to everyone who donated, bought zines or purchased screen prints made by our supporters DFT Printing Studio on the night!
