“IMPRINT” features material from the University Archives and Special Collection Centre at London College of Communication. The exhibition explores the development of LCC and its surrounding area of Elephant and Castle, through a time dating back from 1964.
Keeping in theme of “celebrating the heritage of the college and it’s people” I headed to the workshop block, to find out more about the College’s past, and its journey to becoming more “diverse”, from someone who knows the print design department very well. Ironically, Lloyd Blair, co-ordinator of the print space at LCC and long standing member of the college since the 70’s, had no idea about “IMPRINT” exhibition which celebrates the work of people who’ve come through the very studios he oversees… So we took it upon ourselves to “celebrate” a part of his-story at LCC… IMPRINT and in print space with Lloyd Blair!
Highlighting our #unsungheros!
Special thanks to Lloyd Blair for the spontaneous interview! Diversity Matters aims to highlight diversity matters in the arts and media, as well as education and work spaces.
