We’re super excited to be organising our first ever “Diversity Awareness Week” in collaboration with UAL (Teaching and Learning Exchange), GEMS, Shades of Noire and SUARTS. This UAL student-staff collaboration project is to highlight and promote diversity (race, equality and inclusion) at University of the Arts London.
Diversity Matters Awareness Week theme is “Let’s Talk About Race” which will allow discussion on the low percentage of BAME staff in academic positions and senior management which is having a direct impact on the attainment and retainment of BAME (Black and Ethnic Minority) and International Students (see UAL’s and Diversity Report 2015).
